Residential House Manager

Location: Silver Spring, MD

The Rock Creek Foundation, which is a part of the Affiliated Santé Group, provides community-based treatment of individuals with both psychiatric needs and developmental disabilities, employing values-based management services. RCF’s commitment to serving all populations led the organization to secure Medicaid funding for such services, a new use of Medicaid funds at the time. We aim toward an ideal of enlightened communities, which will demand the rights of all our clients’ life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness! 

 We are currently seeking a Full-Time House Manager to coordinate a variety of activities for high functioning residents with severe mental illness in Montgomery County, Silver Spring, MD residential homes. 

Shifts/Availability

  • Available Monday-Friday; 4:00 pm - 12:00 pm

Commitments

• Orders supplies and determines the need for maintenance, repairs, and furnishings
• Assists in the general upkeep of the house (ie: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and another cleaning, as needed)
• Maintain outside ground of residence including mowing, lawn, raking leaves, weeding flowerbeds and removing snow and ice
• Administers medication per Maryland Board of Nursing requirements
• Checks for consumer goals, messages, nursing diary notes and daily diary notes in the Carematic system at the beginning of each shift
• Updates consumer goals, messages and daily diary notes in the Carematic system at the end of each shift
• Assist persons served with daily hygiene (ie: bathing, dressing, grooming, etc), as needed
• Assigns rooms, assists in planning recreational activities
• Counsels consumers in identifying and resolving social or other problems.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and 2 years experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with less than two (2) points as well as current automobile insurance.
  • Excellent communication skills via phone and email.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • CMT BPS, all core DDA Trainings, CPR/FA
  • Drivers License, personal vehicle, and up-to-date car insurance,
