Peer Recovery MCT Specialist

The Affiliated Santé Group (Santé) is a dynamic and leading provider of crisis psychiatric care and system management services to public and private entities. Santé, a nonprofit entity, also manages mental health outreach and psychiatric recovery services. It has been delivering mental health care to individuals and families and pioneering new treatment modalities since 1974. 

This is an exciting position for those mental health professionals who enjoy making a difference in people’s lives and for people with lived experience (substance use disorder or mental health) to work as part of a mobile crisis team serving people in crisis in Carroll County. We are currently seeking PRN (Scheduled as Needed) Peer Recovery Mobile Crisis Specialist, whom has 3 plus years in active recovery and 5 years in lived experience such as mental health disorder, substance abuse, or a co-occuring disorder, for our Carroll County Crisis Response team. This is an hourly position that ranges from $14.00-$16.00, depending on experience. 

CCRS is a comprehensive Crisis Response Center that offers emergency mental health services to Carroll County residents through a variety of service components including:

  • Mobile Crisis Teams
  • Crisis Stabilization Services
  • Follow Up and Referrals 
  • Integration and Collaboration 

The Peer Recovery Specialist will assess, evaluate, and perform crisis intervention techniques, and will develop a crisis plan for continuation of services related to individual clients. He or she will be responsible for all incident documentation, and will be the on-site resource for any relevant clinical information, as well as the liaison for collaboration with other involved parties including families, friends, and other community providers (all under clinical supervision of an LCSW-C/LCPC).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Peer recovery certification or willingness to be certified
  • Lived experience of recovery from an addiction or co-occurring disorder
  • 3 plus years in active recovery and 5 years in lived experience (mental health disorder, substance abuse, or a co-occuring disorder)
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible schedule
  • Must have knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
  • Must be able to be trained on Electronic Consumer Record software
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals in need and the professional staff of service provider agencies
  • Accepting attitude regarding multiple pathways to recovery
